Baba Ramdev to launch Patanjali Maggi soon, would you try it?

Maggi

After Ayurvedic products to deal with dengue, Ramdev Baba has again grabbed the eyeballs, this time for the controversial ‘Maggi noodles’. Yes, according to the current scenario it seems that Nestle Maggi noodles might be replaced with Patanjali noodles. Priced economically at Rs 15, Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurveda will be launched next week. You might be aware fo the fact that the Swiss giant nestle was told to take off their Maggi noodles off the shelves due to a high content of lead and MSG in some parts of the nation.
But this move is seen as an attempt to capture the lost market by Nestle Maggi, which has raised many eyeballs? The noodles with a catchline as ‘Jhat pat pakao, aur befikr khao’, are claimed to be free from MSG and lead by the yoga guru. (Read: All your questions on Maggi answered by experts!)
Wondering whether the noodles are healthy or not? Well, here’s the answer. In a press conference, Ramdev said, ‘‘We will launch Patanjali noodles on October 15. It will be made from whole wheat flour (atta), not like noodles of other companies which are made up of maida and has only 10 per cent atta,’ reported PTI. He further added, ‘Our noodles will be available at Rs 15, whereas other used to sell it for Rs 25 and its taste-maker will be a health maker.’ Also, these noodles will be using rice-bran oil (known to be healthy oil) and not the cheap and unhealthy oils like palm oil that are claimed to have adverse effects on health. Ramdev concluded that they are working on the principles or Swadeshi and are open to screening and testing or products by FSSAI. (Read: Move over Maggi — There are other 2-minute healthy snacks)
