Mumbai: The BCCI has extended the tenure of Ravi Shastri as team India cricket director until the 2016 World Twenty20 that will be held in India. According to release by the BCCI, the tenures of the assistant coaches have also been extended until that period, indicating that the board is not looking at appointing any new coach. Shastri, who was appointed as the team director for India's tour to England last year, has enjoyed recent success with the team on their tour to Sri Lanka. India bounced back from a 0-1 deficit to clinch a series in Sri Lanka for the first time in 22 years. (Ravi Shastri Adamant India Will Stick to Fearless Cricket)
